If you're looking for a comforting fall latte, this is where you'll find it! This coffee has notes of dried stone fruits, brown sugar and almonds. It is perfect for pairing with a large amount of milk.
Arnulfo Leguizamo is an inspiring coffee producer. He is a member of the Los Naranjos Association, a project where exceptional coffees are rewarded with a bonus.
In 2011, he won first prize in the Cup of Excellence with a coffee from this farm. This coffee was sold at an unprecedented cost of US$45/lb. He promised his family that he would take them to see the ocean and he did.
Arnulfo is very proud to be a farmer. What this new generation of coffee farmers wants is recognition for their hard work and the means to sell coffee in traceable microlots and not as a blend.
We met Diego, his son, at the cupping lab in Los Naranjos. He is currently training to become a cupper and plans to stay with the company. Farmers now understand the importance of being able to enjoy their own coffee.
