Our mission

Since 2009, our goal has been to bring specialty coffee to the larger public. We take great pleasure in exploring, without prejudice, all the new drying techniques, the different terroirs and the coffee growers behind each plantation, and then sharing with you the fruit of our research.

This enthusiasm is accompanied by a crucial element: respect for all humans involved, from the bean harvest, to you, who hold a cup in your hands.

Our actions

Coffee in returnable containers

All of our Origin Series coffees are available in zero-waste containers at our three locations as well as a few partner retailers.

This avoids the one-time use of nearly 5,000 bags each year.

Roasting wastes

The residue from the roasting process is composted. That's more than 50 pounds of organic material composted each week.

Green grain bags

Jute packaging is being recuperated by a entrepreneur in the Chaudière-Appalaches region in order to reuse it in his hazelnut tree plantation.

Para ela

The project of our partner in direct trade, Jose Maria in which we have participated for 2 years. This coffee is harvested by women who are paid more than 50% of the average wage.

Recycling of used bags

We collect empty coffee bags from our three locations and they are recycled by our partner Terracycle.

Air quality

An afterburner chamber is attached to our roasting equipment to allow us to completely eliminate particulate emissions into the air. This is a strict standard that is required in California, but not required in Canada. We decided to go above and beyond what is required by local authorities since the air quality of our neighbors is important to us.

More than 40 new lots put on the market each year
