TASTE
This Ethiopian batch is a delicate explosion of citrus notes. It presents a cup that skillfully balances acidity and sweetness, inviting us to be transported by its floral aromas. While an espresso delivers a touch of excitement with a sweet hint of lime, its counterpart, the filter, reigns with the refreshing essence of blood orange and the sweetness of a summer breeze.
ORIGIN
Historically, the most sought-after lots in western Ethiopia are the Duromina lots, which undergo meticulous washing and overnight soaking before being dried for a minimum of 8 days. Due to the overwhelming demand for their subscriptions and the development of their station, the Duromina team reached a point where they could no longer accept new requests for their lots. Therefore, we are delighted to include such a coffee on our menu!
TASTING
An impressive and well-balanced cup awaits. If tangy aromas don't deter you, they'll immediately captivate you with a blend of sweetness and boldness. An espresso brewed with a washed Ethiopian is undeniably an adventure, and with this one, lime takes center stage amidst a harmonious interplay of sugar and floral notes, resulting in a silky, light-bodied extraction. For manual extraction enthusiasts, Duromina is a must for filter coffee, bringing out orange notes in all their forms with refreshingly fragrant results. This coffee also shines as the perfect option for cold infusions to kick off the spring season, boasting a lightness and tanginess that surpasses iced teas on your terrace!
NB: We recommend allowing this coffee to rest for 4-8 weeks to unlock its full potential. As a summer roast, it's intended to be light, so the degassing process is slightly longer. Respecting this resting time will reward you with an exceptional coffee experience!
