    TASTE

A true citrus storm greets us in this syrupy cup. Up front, blood orange unfolds with deep sweetness before giving way to a distinctly tropical profile. The creamy texture of mango sorbet then coats the palate, while a lively touch of sweet lime closes the experience and lingers through the finish.

    ORIGIN

In the heart of Guji, Tero Farm is the flagship project of Getachew Zekele and Dimtu Coffee PLC. Spanning approximately 150 hectares, the farm also works with nearly 700 partner producers. Their approach is built around a fully integrated supply chain and strong support for local producers through training, pre-harvest financing, seedling distribution and quality-based premiums, all aimed at recognizing and strengthening their work and expertise.

This lot comes directly from Tero Farm and brings together the 74158, 74165, 74110 and 74112 varieties. The cherries were dried whole using the natural process by Getachew Zekele’s team, resulting in an intensely fruity and sweet profile.

    BREWING

Intense as an espresso, luscious in a latte and deeply complex as a filter coffee, this coffee reveals a different side of itself with every brewing method.

As an espresso, blood orange takes centre stage, supported by a dense, enveloping texture reminiscent of mango. Combined with steamed milk, the coffee becomes even sweeter, bursting with yellow tropical fruit and almost evoking an exotic sorbet.

As a filter coffee, it offers a more gradual and complex experience. With a longer resting period, the V60 is especially well suited to highlighting the evolution of its aromas: blood orange leads the way, tropical fruit gradually builds in intensity, while the texture remains rich and syrupy through to a sweet lime finish. A bright and vibrant cup right down to the last sip!
